The New iPad has already been launched and the next big thing would be coming from Microsoft in the form of Windows 8 tabs. Rumors are already doing rounds that Windows 8 tablets would stun the whole tablet market. Here is a list of Windows 8 tablet soon to hit the shelves of the stores. This list is purely speculative and has been made from the various rumors and news reports that have surfaced in the recent past.
Lenovo:
- IdeaPad Yoga would be the name of Lenovo Windows 8 tab.
- Expected to be the first company to bring Windows 8 tab to the world.
Dell:
- Dell says that a tablet which can run all windows programs softly would be attractive.
- After not very successful Streak Series of Android, Dell is thinking of bringing Windows 8 tabs for now.
Samsung:
- The company is working on Windows 8 tabs.
- May release in second half of the year 2012.
- Expected to be similar to that of Series 7.
Asus:
- Asus will bring Windows 8 running on ARM pretty soon.
- It might be similar to the Transformer series.
- One can expect a slim and comfy Windows 8 tab from Asus.
Nokia:
- Nokia had already made a partnership with Microsoft over Windows 8 tabs.
- The chief designer of the company has also confirmed that the tabs are in processing.
- It is expected to be a 10 inch tab.
As we see, there is enough line up for Windows 8. But will the Windows 8 tabs beat the iOS and Android? As of now it seems highly unlikely unless Microsoft offers something really good with the OS.
